Return and Refund Policy

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

For purchases made in the showroom, exchanges and/or returns can be made up to 30 days after the purchase date. For purchases with home delivery, there will be 40 days from the date of purchase. For all cases, the following conditions must be taken into account:

  • The product must be in perfect condition, without signs of use, without marks or deterioration of the sole and with the original packaging, without signs of manipulation.
  • Present the receipt/invoice of sale.
  • The purchase must have been made in Peru (does not apply to international purchases).
  • Exchanges or returns are not accepted for shoes made to order.
  • Cornelio Borda does not cover shipping or return costs.

You can only make one (1) exchange for another size or for another product in our showroom located on Av. Comandante Espinar, Miraflores. Please contact us on WhatsApp or write to us at info@cornelioborda.com to schedule an appointment. Our advisors will be happy to help you in the change process.
Remember that the product to be exchanged must undergo a physical inspection before confirming the exchange; Once our advisors verify that the conditions are met, you can exchange the item for another that is available in stock.

The price that will be taken into account for the change will be the current price on the day the purchase was made and displayed on the payment receipt. Exchanges of items with a higher value than the original purchase price must be canceled by the customer. For exchanged items with a value less than the original purchase price, causing a balance in favor of the customer, a credit note valid for 6 months will be issued, said credit can be used in a single purchase.

To return the item, you must go to our showroom located Comandante Espinar, Miraflores. Please contact us on WhatsApp or write to us at info@cornelioborda.com to schedule an appointment, our advisors will be happy to help you with the process.

Remember that the product to be returned must undergo a physical inspection by our advisors. Once compliance with the conditions is verified, you can request a refund in the same payment method or have a credit balance for the purchase of other products. All money refunds are subject to discounts for expenses and commissions. In the event of a refund request by the client, the client will be subject to a 5% charge for administrative expenses.

Deadlines:

  • Balance in favor: They will be valid for 2 months from the date of return. Credits can be used in a single purchase and are non-refundable.
  • Card payments: The refund is made to the same card with which the payment was made, within a period of no more than 30 days. And it will depend on the policies of each client’s banking entity. All returns will be made directly to the owner of the purchase.
  • Cash payments: The return is made within a period of no more than 30 days to the bank account provided by the client.

Cornelio Borda offers a guarantee of up to 15 days after purchasing the item. The warranty applies only to manufacturing defects. All our products go through different reviews during the production process, final quality control and quality assurance prior to being sent to our customers.

Keep in mind that our shoes and purses are handmade, so they may present slight variations inherent to the craftsmanship, each shoe and purse is unique in the world. The materials we use such as leather and fur may present slight variations in color, textures, falls as it is a material that comes from a layer of animal tissue so it is unrepeatable.

What cases are NOT considered manufacturing errors:

  • Failure to follow the cleaning and care instructions for the products.
  • Deterioration of the product by its own nature.
  • Use of chemicals that deteriorate the material.
  • Any modification or alteration made by the client.
  • Incorrect use of the article.
  • Any external fact that involves the quality or manufacturing of the product.

If the product has factory defects, the customer must contact info@cornelioborda.com within a maximum period of 7 days from the purchase to review the case.

Credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and must be used in a single purchase. If all the credit is not used within the indicated period, there will be no room for a claim. Once the Credit Note is issued, no subsequent changes or refunds will be accepted.

For purchases made through third-party channels, any complaint and/or claim arising from non-conformity with the products or services received must be channeled directly to the point of sale where the product was purchased. Cornelio Borda will not be responsible for any damage or harm that may arise from sales made through third-party channels.
